Hi Dan,

He refuses to believe that my website is simply "the BBS".  I provide access 
to Fidonet echos VIA the website!  If he were to surf around, he would learn 
(as many of you know) that I provide the echos on dynamically generated 
content available from the website.  One can read, reply, generate Fidonet 
echo and Netmail, "&" upload/download QWK packets as well ALL from a web 
browser (NNTP, & Telnet too) !    It's all part of Wildcat! Winserver, which 
is LISTED in the damn snooze as a "BBS" package.

This is one of those instances (one of several) where he conveniently 
IGNORES the truth so that he can attempt to justify his argument.

He claimed in previous conversations that he was a "scientist" of sorts.  I 
replied (correctly) that he must not be a good one.  This is the 
justification for my hypothesis; he ignores facts in order to make the 
evidence fit a given hypothesis or argument.  A real scientist will compile 
facts to create a hypothesis.   It's not unlike a doctor who evaluates 
symptoms to justify a diagnosis.  A good doctor won't ignore the symptoms 
that don't fit because that would kill the patient.   Michiel has ignored 
specific facts in order to make his argument work and it's as obvious as the 
nose on his face.

Facts ignored.
1. My website IS my BBS.
2. The author retains his / her rights to their submissions for inclusions 
in Fidonews in as much as nobody may deface them, or claim them as their 
own.
3. Michiel submitted that article with the complete knowledge that it would 
be distributed iaw P4 and international fidonet policy (of which he agreed 
upon accepting his node number)
4. He claims it's due to some vendetta against Felten and we are the bullys 
here... This is not true, and he knows it.  Nobody is "attacking" Felten, 
Michiel just hates Americans and wants us out of this echo -- Just Like 
Felten.  All I did (with some help) was document Felten's obvious public 
hatrid and bias against Americans.
5. He submitted it for inclusion in a publication in another country 
(Sweden) and did so Voluntarily.  Because of that, it is not covered under 
Dutch law anyway! Since he sent it to another country, he gave up his "Dutch 
Rights" to the article outside of The Netherlands! Now it's under 
international law and 'NOT' Dutch law.
6. Dan - Roy - Ross -- I'm missing one, I'm just out of brain cells (just 
finished a 26 page research paper on Software Testing... BORING)

Again, these are all facts he ignores or cuts out of replies in order to 
justify his argument.  He'll likely attempt to piece a reply to this one and 
come up with more rehtorical crap he made up in order to continue this 
tripe.

If he truly believed there was some merit to his claim, he'd likely clammier 
to court and file a suit against me.  He won't because he'd loose and I'd 
counter sue him for damages and expenses.  He'd loose everything because I'd 
damn sure go after him with both guns and attempt to take everything the 
honorable Dutch court would allow me to have.

He's lost this argument and he's lost the respect of every SYSOP in the 
land.  Even Bjorn Felten has been pretty quiet about this.  I think Michiel 
van der Vlist is walking the walk of shame now.....  And he looks like crap!
