Carol has been embarrassed by experts; I was not thinking of her.  As
for your other associates, it is likely that by now most of them would
have been innoculated by you in the course of your normal activities.

One should always check out what is offered in the Duty Frees around
the world.  Sometimes you can find some interesting Specials.

Or, as Jim said, somewhat larger than a pint.  Anyway, I have got the

I was very tempted to do just that as a child, as I hated the taste of
it (under its name in our local dialect of "Silver Beet").

I have never tried drying young zucchinis for that purpose.  I would
have thought that they would lack the spongey cellulose internal
composition of the lufas which is so satisfying when scrubbed over
one's back in the bath.   Aaaaaah!

That was snake gourd, not beans.  A beautiful mottled dark and pale
green vegetable with pointed ends and a sinuously writhing body about
30mm diameter.  Eaten, like the others, peel and all.

Thanks.  I had never even heard of such an exotic ingredient before it
surfaced here.  Strange people, the Welsh.

Yesterday I thought of you as I had the chef's special of the day at a
local Thai place.   It was an entree of tiny, 30mm diameter, breaded
and deep fried baby octopuses.  With a fairly conventional barely hot
Thai dipping sauce, the arms crunched, and the bodies were tender,
with a lovely octopus flavour allowed to come through.  For main
course they did a reasonable stir-fried roo.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Ginger Snaps
 Categories: Cookies, Appetizers, Desserts
      Yield: 120 Servings
 
           -------- CREAM --------
    3/4 c  Butter with:
      2 c  Sugar, Stir In:
      2    Eggs, Well Beaten
    1/2 c  Molasses
      2 ts Vinegar
           ------ SIFT AND ADD ------
  3 3/4 c  All Purpose Flour
  1 1/2 ts Soda
      3 ts Ginger
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
    1/4 ts Cloves
 
  þ Mix ingredients until well blended.
  þ Form dough into 3/4-inch balls.
  þ Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  þ Bake on a greased cookie sheet for about 12 minutes.
  þ As the ball melts down during baking, the cookie develops the
  characteristic crinkled surface.
  
  NOTE: A topping to delight the kids is 1/2 a marshmallow, cut side
  down, on the almost baked cookies. Return to oven about 4 minutes.
  When cool, ice to taste.
  
  ANOTHER NOTE: This makes 10 dozen, 2-inch cookies.
  
  ANOTHER NOTE: If you dunk these in coffee...don't drink the coffee..
