->   Soak dried mushrooms in boiling water.  Meanwhile, wash and slice

Very similar to my own recipe, except I usually add finely diced celery to the 
onions and saute them first then add the "shrooms", I don't usually make a 
roux for mine just use a bit of heavy cream to thicken it up along with the 
half and half. ( I also often add a wee dram of bourbon to it) and garnish with

chives and every now and again a sprinkle of powdered wasabi!
