About zero. Some of the better performers are paid a
negotiated rate somewhat less than union scale (it
is after all an alternative and shoestring operation) -
they asked me to come back and help recreate the premier
of a piece I did in NYC a couple years ago, but the
amount they could spare would barely cover plane fare.
(Still, as you may be able to guess, I'm considering
doing it anyway, if they find a place to put me up
for a week).

Other than that, most of the performers (including all
the singers) are volunteer; the composers, eager to get
a hearing, actually subsidize their productions; the
hall rental is not insignificant, but after that's taken
care of, the people running the series take back the
rest of the proceeds, probably a thousand bucks a night,
out of which they pay the publicity, poster and program
printing, et cetera.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Jeff's Favorite Pizza Sauce
 Categories: Sauces, Italian, Personal, duke, tnt
      Yield: 4 Servings

     28 oz Canned Progresso Plum
           Tomatoes w/Basil, drained
     15 oz Tomato paste
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Black pepper
      1 tb Oregano
    1/2 ts Basil
      2 tb Parmesan cheese
      2 ts Olive oil
      1    Capful RealLemon lemon jce.
      1 ts Garlic powder
    1/2 ts Onion powder

    Puree the drained tomatoes well.  It is important to use Italian
  Plum Tomatoes, not regular canned tomatoes.  The flavor is
  distinctively different.  If you cannot find Progresso Plum Tomatoes
  with basil, add an additional 1/2 to 1 tb. basil to the tomatoes
  while pureeing.

    Place the puree mixture in heavy saucepan.  Add remaining
  ingredients except for the grated cheese.  Simmer 1/2 hour, or longer
  if necessary. Add cheese last 10 minutes of cooking. The canned
  grated parmesan is good in this recipe, as well as fresh.

    Sauce can be frozen if needed.
