It takes 30-45 minutes, depends on if I've let it soak for a while
before cooking or not.  Faster cooking time is with soaking, slower,
without.  That's for doing 2 cups worth of rice, more rice would
probably take longer to cook.

Got a new "toy" the other day. We'd gone into Wal-Mart looking for a
bread slicing guide (no go) but found vaccuum sealers at about a third
off the original asking price.  They had both Rival and Food Saver
brands; we got the better Rival model and Steve has had fun over the
week end making "bricks" of some of the grains we've got on hand.
Definately frees up space in the freezer!

We've been buying the Goya the past year or so.  Works well for us but
it's in with the international foods at the commissary so isn't as
noticeable.
