Yes, and quite a few of them do.  I saw a list of a dozen or so drugs
due to have patents expire in the next 3-4 years; several are on my list
of meds.  The Army pharmacies use generics whenever possible so I may be
seeing some new names for my meds soon.

Just be moderate/modest in your intake, get the testing done as needed,
etc and you shouldn't have trouble. Most of the stuff I'm on that allows
for multiple doses in a day (as needed) I don't even come close to the
maximum allowed for the day so I should be OK.  I got fussed at a few
years ago for not using enough pain pills; I can tolerate a certain
level of discomfort before reaching for the meds and the doctor thought
I should medicate sooner.

She takes tylenol because it's non addictive; she's afraid to use the
NSAIDs because they can be potentially addictive.  Tylenol 3 is the one
with codiene; AFAIK, she doesn't use any of that.

Probably for the flavor that the two, mixed together seem to have.  Sort
of like the discussion Dave S. and Jim had about the spicy/hot bacon.
