If conditions are at all stable and the life lasts a fair length of time and 
the energy and nutrient sources are decent one can expect metazions of some 
sort to show up but I agree with you. Microbes are the dominate life form in 
the Universe. They have been on Earth for as long as life has been around 
and can expect to continue to be for some time. ?8^)
