Then he was jumping to conclusions. The guy with the beer does indeed look a
bit like the guy standing next to David Rance. But so does my older
brother.....

Those photos - if they exist - only prove that /someone/ painted a black stripe
on a white Camaro. They do not prove it is your car or that it is you who did
it.

You can never prove there is no look alike of yoru Camaro running around.
Someone /could/ have copied it or gooten the same idea. These things happen.

But.. even if it is unique, we still have only your word that the person
walking past the back of it is you...

San Diego is in California isn't it?

So either the cars were not registered in California when the pictures for the
web side were taken or you took the front plates off for the occasion of the
picture. I suppose that is legal if it happens on private property.

Even if the plate was visible, could I check on the owner somewhere? Over here
you can not. Not any more. You can get the data on the car, not the owner.
