yep, it can take a while to cross from one coast to the other.. my brother
lives in Vancouver, BC,  and it takes him a while to cross from one coast to
the other by car ... it's quite a trip.. voyage-wise...

Nah.. never saw the light of day once we landed haha... my poor tan <grin>..the
SCO Unix conference we attended was pretty much 7:30AM-3pm+ every day, with
lectures and breakout-sessions etc... a perfect world for geeks like us  -
except for the amount of traipsing back and forth there.. geez, walking from
the sessions to the elevators was almost too much  :)  then we had to take time
to eat afterall.. and then we both just fell asleep while the rest of the
populace gambled their hearts away  :)  but we're a little different from some
of the rest I guess...

Lol :)  That would have been a "trip" (jargon-wise) in itself had anyone picked
me out of the crowd there :) Well, you know Lol :)  What a zoo that load of
people was.. all I could think of the whole time was, how are my tomatoes doing
in my garden haha... I asked my grandson to keep his eye on them 'cause I knew
they were about to turn red any day before we left, and wow he must have picked
about 20 tomatoes while we were gone (so I'm real happy haha)

We're home now .. most happily so...I could live the rest of my life very very
happily never ever hitting that scene ever again <laugh> Just constant LOUD
noice, and ignorant jerks.. except interestingly enough (to me) a family from
the UK visiting there whose children were so well behaved and polite, and
considerate of others :) :)  It was more than refreshing :)  And all it took
was for the teenager in the bunch to hold the elevator for those of us (ummm)
who had some trouble getting to the elevator door before it slammed shut.. :)

To tell the truth the most interesting thing throughout the SCO conference was
their concentration on Cell phones and hand-held systems and what it means to
places like India for contacting people... that's what they are concentrating
on and perhaps what we should be looking at.  <grin>
