yup, i remember that but i don't really remember you having come over from the
NAB... maybe you did... i haven't looked in that old message area in a while
and don't know how far back it goes if there are still any messages in it on my
system...

yeah, i remember that, too... it was pretty sad that no one could handle that
and the other stuff seperately without the problems...

that's what i've been saying but instead of filtering, it could be a problem of
configuration or such... i dunno... i've been working with Torbjorn in netmail
about the PATHs stuff... it seems that in his case, all other echos flow fine
from his system up thru janis' and back to kim heino's... supposedly it is only
FIDONEWS that has this problem and apparently kim pulls all of fidonet from
janis... so, with that in mind, the path from Torbjorn's system to kim's would
be one or more of the following AFAICT... there will be multiple paths for
different messages depending on the connecting and delivery times between nodes
in a fully connected polygon but i don't have to tell you about that ;)

it wouldn't surprise me to find there are more paths, too... i don't know and
haven't gone digging to see who else björn is connected to that may connect in
to one of the above but there's at least 8 possible paths for echomail...

right now, anything going to kim's system(s), 22/222, 222/2 and 222/222, must
all get to janis's system, 261/38... that's either a direct connect or
connecting to you, 123/500 or bobS, 140/1, and from there it could go straight
to janis or around the long way thru the other star and then to janis...
