Dictatorships can be fun.  Especially smiling dicatorships.
Such as the Marcos dictatorship in the Philippines.  Of course,
we had something like that in Louisiana, with Huey P. Long.
But that was long ago ...

Plurality, not majority.  There is a difference.  A big difference.
The difference between winning and losing.

college system ...

Government always goes away.  The form of government remains the same,
but the government that existed prior to the election goes away.  That
is why we have a new Congress every two years.  Likewise, a president
can only be elected one term at a time, although limited to serving
two terms consecutively (if elected).

What the hell do they teach children in the state of Texas?
Or is this hogwash all an invention of your own mind?  Each
party elects its own leader, in the House and in the Senate.
It makes absolutely no difference who the president is, or
what party of president is a member of.  A "majority" leader
can only be a majority leader if his/her own political party
controls a majority of seats in the House/Senate.  If no
political party has a majority, there can be no majority leader.

You might want to re-think that.  I'll give you a hint -

The best majority that can be had is a majority of one.

Either you treat them like royalty or it's off with your head.
Thomas Jefferson and his companions put their own heads on the
line by writing/signing the Declaration of Independence.  Not
many people today are that brave.  Or stupid.
