I find it fascinating how you've become so friendly and supportive of Ward
since the time he passed you over for RC28 in favor of his friend Johan
Zwiekhorst after Jan Vermeulen left fido for health reasons. Johan wasn't even
Dutch.

You didn't think much of Ward then, did you? In fact, I read some rather
unflattering remarks you made about him at the time. You felt, for reasons I
can understand, pretty put down by him. The Germans call Ward's behaviour at
the time "Vetternwirtschaft" (cronyism).

But in the meantime, Johan has also left fido, you - as the "second choice" -
have become RC28, and now everything appears to be sweetness and light between
you and Ward.

"Naturally" that has not affected your opinions, but the RC hat _does_ feel
good, doesn't it ;-) And one must be grateful to the hand that bestows it...

Ward likes the ZC hat, too - but the IC hat was lined with gold brocade and
much more impressive - almost a crown. That's probably why he mourns the loss
so bitterly.

Just a slight diversion in the interest of objectivity... I didn't want to just
laugh at your comments, since that would have been impolite. As impolite as
your and Ward's basic assumption that everyone except he and the "inner circle"
is a blithering idiot without the sense to understand what happened unless
spoonfed (naturally by you, him or one of the other sycophants).
