No, we use education to help them get out of the hole.. welfare can be a
transitory element to help in 'the meantime'.

Sure looks like in general it's working... I expect in states where Medicaid
expansion isn't approved, in those states it's not working as well as it would.
Somanagun, those are all republican states!

We still support the same type of candidates we did when we were hippies.. that
hasn't changed, nor have our ideals changed about treating other humans with
respect and compassion.   About the only thing that's really changed is we have
more 'stuff' that we need to get rid of laying around <g>
