One would never know without removing the lamp cover. And, with LEDs as a
light source, one will probably never have to remove that lamp cover
again during the lifetime of that vehicle. It is now driven by a high
school kid as his daily transportation to/fro school. And probably after
school activities.

Hmmm. There are cars with bright LEDs used for tail and brake lights. Some
Japanese or Korean and some European...
