Hello Dale,

On Friday August 03 2012 22:55, you wrote to me:

That is because your system does not put a paragraph seperator between the end
of your ow text and the quoted text marked by the string "MVDV>". That way it
is in the middle of a paragraph and not recognised as quoted text. Here is a
hex dump of the first part of your orginal message:

It is YOUR system that is messing things up.

Also the reply kludge is missing in your messages, which makes it difficult to
go back in the tread.

You can not expect me to know every little detail of how things are done in the

That is not a problems here cell phones do not have numbers in the land line
ranges. They all start with 06.

What a mess...

DS> In that case, I have to try alternate methods since I
DS> do not have a long distance carrier on my land line.

Here we do not have carriers that offer local only access. Though some offer an
extra hurdle like a PIN code for some call ranges. To prevent unauthorised
persons that have access to you phone from making long distance or
international calls or otherwise expensive calls.

DS> Many cell phones do not charge extra for calling long distance. Some
DS> carriers do not charge for calls within their own cell phone network.

The latter is also the case here.

DS>> However -- is the phone even relevant? Does Ward have a modem on

MVDV>> I don't know, he did not tell me.

DS> If he does not, then does he have an internet domain that points to

I know that he has binkp capability.

DS> That would be important for the NC to be able to connect with him at
DS> the computer he is applying from.

Yes, that would be relevant. But not as long as the position is taken that an
application was not filed at all...

Cheers, Michiel
