All I saw was (and I did count the comments today) over 7 sysops saying "you
have my vote", "don't upset the applecart", and more comments like that.

Btw, a good number of them did NOT remain silent.

Why don't you ask Mike Soper to pick up elsewhere as Roy has said he would..
then I won't need to have a link for Mike :)  Then again, I would hope that if
Mike Soper tells you he's not interested in picking up elsewhere that you would
honor his choice.

Well, I'll call you on that Roger.. I trust you do have a feed to it right now
one way or the other?  If you do have a good link (such as Marc) you should
have no problem seeing the messages :)

Such as who?

In this particular instance, the majority of members of R19 voted to leave
things as they are.

If you are not happy with this situation, convince the people in your region to
hold another election, and convince them to vote for you or someone else as RC.
 It shouldn't be so difficult if that's what the majority of SysOps in R19
REALLY want.
