That is something that Björn Felten has been trying to tell us all
for years.  But few would listen.

Odin may have had only one eye, but he could see everything -
including the future.  And his kids and grandkids?  Well, the
Vikings certainly made a name for themselves, even those
without the horns.

Yes, my fidofriends.  Thanks to Richard Wagner, Vikings now have
horns.  Thanks to Hollywood (and American television), the entire
world knows that Vikings have horns.  Except for Scandinavians.
