Public transport does not end with a bus or a subway, there's the neighbourhood
railroads, the narrow-gauge railroads, I can take half-hourly trains to
Amsterdam, I can take hourly high-speed trains to Paris (1hr20 for 440km), I
can be in Geneva (Switzerland) by train in 4 hours, I can be at the
Mediterranean by train in 6 hours ... hourly departures ... that's about 600
miles, we still call that "public transport". That's roughly from New Braunfels
TX to Colorado or to Pensacole, or from New York City to Indiana.
 
For comparison's purpose ... LA to San Francisco is some 345-350 miles only.

Why go that far? Have you forgotten Slick Willy who paid suitcases full of
