Even if you had some great accomplishments in the FTSC, they would be limited

You can't re-invent the wheel nor can you fix abandonware or get people to 
switch to using other software. So why waste your time? Even Michiel has 
stated the same opinion; a guy who is VERY technical and respected by myself 
and other developers.

Evidently it is, since above you're "extremely tired" and Michiel is not doing
his job because he didn't come up with the idea for Facebook before Zuckerberg
did. I guess if you had his job, the FTSC would be working 24/7 to come up 
with ways to save our hobby? Provided it suits your standard? And it all has 
to have the same interface as FD/RA? :)

What did you think you were being elected into the FTSC to do again exactly?

How many documents need to be proofread? Is the counsil THAT busy nowadays?

Fidonet is not a "real group environment", its a hobby. At least to me it is. 

Where exactly in Policy 4 does it say I must kiss the ass of the FTSC prior to
inventing a new idea or standard?
