I always lived in the hinterlands until I lived in St. Louis for awhile though,
so that's the way it worked for me

yEp, was thinking of who the other catalogue might be you
get.

YEah I know, there's no good outlet for even coaxial cable
now in Memphis.  i used to buy from a wholesale house in NEw Orleans, I bought
a 1k foot spool which I've still got about 80 foot of already terminated for a
job that never happened, still on the spool though.  I offered to sell it by
the foot at my cost to anybody who was doing antenna work on weekends that
didn't want to have to deaql with the crap they sell at the Shack.  I think one
guy bought 100 feet from me one time in N.O. but otherwise the rest of it I
used here and there,
some of it was feeding antennas that I lost in Katrina, a
good length of it's attached to a g5rv that's still probably in the trees out
in the woods wehre we used to live here in
Tennessee, tree lost some lower branches and we couldn't
retrieve the g5rv cause we couldn't get to it.  i always
meant to get back there to try to get the coax but never
did.  <oh well>.
