Have you tried it?  The security model is a VERY compelling reason, and enough
for me to get it on new machines.  The other stuff is gravy, but gravy is good
too.

That's apps not OS's, and I refuse to use Outlook -- any version, and Office97
covers all my needs as well -- the only reason I use anything newer is because
that's all I can buy now. (I use OO at home...)

Not always, and some of the Microsofties I've met recently actually care about
what's going on.

The whole computer industry is kind of going through a bad time right now, more
concerned with patents and copy protection than what they should be, but
eventually it'll straighten itself out. (or someone else will come along and
eat their lunch.)  Even IBM is not as good as it used to be with the AS/400...

I'm not trying to push people to Vista, I'm just talking about what things
someone might want out of it, but only you can answer if it would be worth it
to you.
