Your second sentence contradicts your first.  It changes hands twice and it
is taxed twice.

It was a bad example only in the sense that it was not simple enough for
you to understand, but that goal looks unattainable.

It was Ceppa who introduced the "different entities" diversion.  In the
example there are THREE DIFFERENT ENTITIES.  If each change-of-hands
transaction were taxed, it would be triple taxation.  Your response misses
the point again, because the profit of a company is controlled by the
owner, regardless of whether it is a single proprietor, a partnership, or a
corporation.

At least you are not as obvious with your fallacies as is Ceppa.  I never
said they were the "same entity."  [A humorous aside: earlier in the thread
CEPPA tried to argue that they were!  But he realized eventually that that
contradicted his other argument, so he reversed field.]

The discussion is about income taxes.  Now, concentrate real hard!  WHAT
"entity" gets taxed by income taxes?  If you said "income," then you are
starting to understand.  The relevant "entity" is the money.  If the same
MONEY gets taxed twice, that is what English-speakers would call DOUBLE
taxation.  Look up the word "double" if you need to.
