Ah... Sure! Sounds good to me. <LOL>

I guess we could debate how cell phone technology has influence the modern day
horror film, or ponder over the mutating genome of garden slugs, and how human
kind will have us hailing the hermaphrodite by the next millennium... ... ...

I rarely don't have a TV on in a room I am in. I spend as much time watching
educational, or informative programming as much as I can, but more often than
not, it's just background noise. When I was more incapacitated, a friend who
possessed my front door key would drop by to make me laugh. It hurts the most
when I have a guttural ha-ha, but she was ruthless, and I told her often how
much I hated that about her, but she knows how much I loved that about her.

Anyway, the reason I brought her up, was she would muse over my need for the
tube, and surmised that in lieu of human contact, it's likely my lifeline that
keeps me from the deep edge. And it likely did. But, whenever I find programing
that might stimulate, I rejoice that TV isn't all evil, all the time.

When the premier edition of Sir Rick's show was broadcast, and specifically the
incident I mentioned, I figured here was a thought provoking series, even if it
was just another reality show, that I might be able to sink my teeth into, sort
of speaking. I never went out of my way to be in front of a tv when it
broadcast, but I would check it out if there wasn't something else worth
watching in its time slot.

Well, the show started to veer into an all too familiar territory when the
'contestants' were forced to walk a plank between two hot-air balloons, in an
effort to test their willingness to tread on unfamiliar ground, and test their
ability to take risks, or some such clap-trap. NEXT!!!

AH> Probably. Diagnostic methods have improved a

I've heard the major reason for far-sightedness (Don't know the medical term.)
is correcting myopia, and training the eye muscles to be lazy.

AH> whatnot. I'm sure that was part of it... other oncology

"P... p.../ H, k... o, P... P, Sinotrial. Nope, too far."

"Poison, Polyurea... (Ewww, no thanks...) Premature, Presbyopia!"

In the words of a very wise woman I have gotten to know:

"Ah, huh..."

JB> suspected the low BP, and hyperventilating.

AH> I have low BP too. What seems to help, in my case, is
AH> moving slowly when I'm getting out of bed or something &

 AH> clarinet.... :-)

Ya, that only goes so far. In my younger days, I read an article from a staff
writer in a mag, that he would breath along with the solo instrument, or at
least follow the breaths of the other non-rhythm section members to better sync
with their expressions, bla, bla, bla...

Like I've said, I can breath with such fervor, that I can bring myself into
hyper-ventilation easily. Just when I can take my breaths down to three or four
a minute, WHAM! And I'm back to hyper-ventilating again. Years ago, I believe I
told you about my stint in a grocery store, where I had to zone out everything
around me, and cup my hands over my mouth in order to capture some amount of
C-Ov2 for my next breath? Well, the mucus in the back of my throat can dry out
in this climate, which likely serves to increase my fresh fruit and veggies
consumption... ... ...

AH> [re the coffee pot incident]

AH> Yes, I think it is important to cut yourself
AH> some slack. People have "senior moments" from the time
AH> they're in their twenties, apparently, but don't generally
AH> notice such episodes until they start happening more
AH> often. Being in pain or otherwise subject to extreme
AH> stress can make them more obvious.... :-)

L!!! I hear that.

Now, I've never beaten myself up for forgetting to charge the coffee basket,
(There's likely an adopted Spanish word for the device.) only to find a carafe
of hot watter waiting, or walking into a room, and forgetting what you came for
because you were racing with ideas for why you didn't really need the thing you
were going to fetch from that room, and "Now, what did I need from this room,
and why am I standing here?" Heck, those are the funny ones.

A friend used to laugh at himself, for walking half down the stairs, only to
stop to ponder if he was going up the stairs, or down for something in the
basement. I've yet to reach that point, but I'll let you know if, and when it
happens. <L> It's the simple stuff, that you get up to fill your water, and end
up leaving the glass on the vanity after disposing of the used fluid. That sort
of thing at work was really putting a kibosh on any productivity, and likely
the major reason I am still on a disability.

Now, I did get plenty done in the last year, but cloths washing still consumes
the better part of a week after I forget to transfer the load to the dryer, or
fall asleep at the critical wrinkle stage after a spin dry, and I have to
re-rince it so I don't look like a total hobo... ... ...
