It's 64'F here now and expected to get up to 84'F
this afternoon...

As for Freezing a Bad hard drive,
that crashes when it gets HOT..

I put it in a Blue Freezer ZipLock bag
and stick that Bag inside another Freezer ZipLock bag

Then place the HD in the Freezer Compartment of
the Refrigerator over night (for Best results)
or two to three Hours durring the day..

Don't take the HD out of the Freezer, until you
have everything you need all set up and ready to go

Because, once you mount the Frozen HD in the computer
you only have 30 minutes or so to Recover any data
that you want to recover, before the HD warms up
enough to crash again..

If you have more Data to recover, then Re-Freeze the HD
again and Try again.. Second, third Freezing yield ONLY
limited Success rates..
the 1st Freezing yeild the best results.

As always, Your Milage may Vary.. :-))

The Best results on Data Recovery, is
to have Several current Backups before the HD Crash. :-))
