 Good point.  Another is that most webmail accounts will allow you
 to import mail from other mail accounts (if you wish).  That wasn't
 always the case, and was a reason for using POP mail.

 Another consideration is that many ISP's block port 25, which is typically
 used for the SMTP server.  The result is that they limit connection by
 the user to only their SMTP server and block connection with the SMTP
 servers of other mail services providers.

 There's not much point in having a separate mail account, if you can't
 send out mail with it, IMO. ;-)
