                         cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned
CDs with a CDR/CDRW recorder. It works as a burn
engine for several applications. It supports CD
recorders from many different vendors; all
                         SCSI-3/mmc and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should
also work. Supported features include IDE/ATAPI,
parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data
CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support,
CDRWs (rewritable), TAO, DAO, RAW, and
                         human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes
remote SCSI support and can access local or
remote CD writers. cdrtools works without ASPI
router. USB CD/DVD drives supported as well.

SOX12181.ZIP 109 Kb. This is release 12.18.1 of SoX. SoX was
originally written and maintained by Lance
Norskog but is currently maintained by Chris
Bagwell. SoX (also known as Sound eXchange)
translates sound files between different file
formats, and optionally applies various sound
effects. SoX is intended as the Swiss Army knife
of sound processing tools. It doesn't do
anything very well, but sooner or later it comes
                         in very handy.
FFMPG049.ZIP 2613 Kb. ffmpeg version 0.4.9-pre. Copyright (c)
2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard. Updated build of
FFMpeg 0.49.pre based on a pull from the CVS
archive on 14th September, 2006. This is
compiled with Innotek GCC 3.3.5 CSD1, and
requires a copy of libc06.dll. FFmpeg is a very
fast video and audio converter. It can also grab
from a live audio/video source. The command line
interface is designed to be intuitive, in the
sense that ffmpeg tries to figure out all the
parameters, when possible. You have usually to
give only the target bitrate you want. FFmpeg
can also convert from any sample rate to any
other, and resize video on the fly with a high
                         quality polyphase filter.

Supported signal coding standards: PAL and
SECAM. It is pleasant to notice that unlike

support, referred to as the Universal Language
Support (ULS) functions. Unfortunately, they are
very poorly documented. The Warp 4 Toolkit
                         contains cursory INF reference documentation
(UNIAPI.INF) for ULS, but it is now severely
outdated. The 4.5x Toolkit includes updated
documentation in HTML format (UNIAPI.HTM), but
it is woefully incomplete, very poorly
formatted, and contains some blatant errors.
Consequently, I have embarked upon a major
revamping of the ULS documentation. My document
is based on IBM's UNIAPI.HTM from the 4.52
Toolkit, but with many improvements by Alex
                         Taylor.
