Explosive, too because they didn't have self-sealing gas tanks.

Gods yes.  It was bad enough to have Our Heroes to be the two guys who 
managend to get off the ground in the Pearl harbor attack (I expected that) 
but the Dolittle Raid, too?

It's a sad thing for a movie when Ben Affleck turns in the best acting 
performance of all the major characters... (I actually thought he did OK. 
The confrontation scene after he's back from England was well-acted)
