Well, TBH, I was in a Mexican restaurant in the Village, and they were
elements in a salad containing heated and spicy blue-corn batter
dipped chicken strips, cold cooked potatos, a sour cream and something
dressing, corn, and greens. They were sweet, which was a nice
difference to the other flavors in the salad. They may have been
pickeld; they were very dark (almost looked like a wedge of cranberry)
and soft-ish - I may have thought it WAS cranberry jelly or something
before I tasted it.
