I was not disappointed. I wasn't part of the 5-year arc, because it
wasn't supposed to be.

Prince Vintari didn't feel safe with his own people, and his emporer
didn't feel he was safe with other Centauris around. So he was
transferred to a ship where he could feel safe, where he had no
"retainers or guards" around. Any retainer or guard could potentially
be compromised, so he needed to be away from his people to feel safe.
That was explained.

Who would you suggest that they put in the same cell with Burke? And
why? Do you want to create another character just so he can have a
cellmate? I don't recall a single instance where multiple people were
put in a single cell on B5.

I saw them as 2 separate stories, and did not try to force them into the
pattern of the arc and then complain that they didn't fit. I enjoyed
them, and hope to see many more Lost Tales. I will buy them when they
arrive.
