An interesting post.  Now I feel as though I have to try it, at least once - 
although it'll be hard to overcome the temptation of wanting to watch it at 
the same time.  Maybe I'll pop an episode onto my (audio) iPod, and try it 
sometime when I actually don't have access to a screen.

When I first read the OP's idea of listening to the audio, I thought that'd 
never work well, because these shows weren't _written_ as audio-only theatre; 
that you'd miss too much of the visuals.  But you make a good point with that 
comment about the battle for Proxima; in audio theater there's stuff you 
_must_ leave to the listener's imagination.  You simply can't script around 
everything purely visual.  So, looks like you've made a potential convert - 
I'm going to give it a try!
