Ärende: The Basis For Salvation

The world knows little about eternal things. Some do not even know that there
is a God. And some expect to find out by some other way than the way he has
said; so they ever wander. God has said that by faith people understand that
the universe was made by his word. And faith is the way people must relate to
God. But some deny there is enough shown for faith, but God says there is, and
that there is no excuse. Why by faith?
Because people now living on earth, almost all of them, have existed less than
100 years, with an IQ below 200, who suppose their science and technology is
advanced, that even their next generation usually views outdated, such then who
think so highly of themselves, nevertheless are infinitely small compared with
God, who the heavens of heavens cannot contain yet alone our universe, and who
has always existed, without beginning and without end, and who understands and
knows all things, from the smallest to the greatest, everything about every
heaven, every galaxy, every star, every mass, every molecule, every atom, every
particle, everything now, and forever past, and forever future. But God, the
Son of God, came down to earth as our Righteous Substitute,
to be born a child and live a perfect life for us, and go to the cross for us
in our place so that he could take the penalty for our sins as though our sins
were his,
so that we could have eternal life as though his own righteousness were ours.
He died for us, and rose again, and returned to his Father in heaven, and then
from heaven sent his truth to us. Christ gave the truth regarding sin, by
revelation to Paul as the gospel of grace to preach to the nations: We are
saved by grace thru faith in Jesus Christ. Christ gave the truth regarding
righteousness, the basis for salvation, to the theologian Luther so that people
would once again trust in Christ alone for salvation: Christ is our entire
righteousness for salvation. But today relatively few people even hear that
truth, or know that truth, yet alone cherish that truth. So Christ will take in
the Rapture of the Church only those whose trust is on him alone for salvation,
so that many remaining on earth may believe the truth that he gave about his
righteousness, that believing they may trust in him alone and have eternal life
and be looking for his coming to take them from the Tribulation generation.
