What type of disk drives do you have in the old and new 
systems?  A CD-RW in the old system would be good.  Or, 
a 1.44 floppy in the new one could work, too.  In fact, if 
the 1.44 is available in both, that may be the easiest 
for you to handle as you would be more familiar with it.  
Besides, IIRC, a WIN95 system didn't handle a CD-RW...

We've been there at one time.  And, depending on the circumstances, 
back there again!  

Anyhow, it appears that you have 2 systems up and running.  Keep 
them that way!  I trust you have 2 monitors, too.  


Let's start with a few questions...  


Have you networked your WIN95 system?  

Is your XP system a desktop or laptop?  

Does your XP have a floppy drive?  

Can you personally add a hard drive or floppy drive to a computer?  

Are you comfortable with DOS command line Commands?  

How about WIN copy commands?  


As it is, I'm in the process of copying my BW files and other 
programs from a WIN98 system to my XP laptop.  They are networked, 
thus I haven't needed to copy to 1.44's or CDs  In fact, the 
laptop doesn't have a floppy!  And, my newer CPU only supports 
a single floppy drive compared to my older system that allowed 
2, one a 1.44 and thge other a 360!
