Doesn't keep them out of "hell" (Hebrew "sheol", Greek "hades",
modern English best translation, "the common grave of all mankind") --
when you die, you get buried (which puts you in "hel"(in the Norse,
referring to the grave domain below the sod)

It's appointed unto [a] man once to die(ie. & then to "hell") and after
that the judgement. . .

This in no way refutes reincarnation, as the person dies, receives
judgement, and if not utterly corrupte ("the soul that sins that
surely[utterly] die[be utterly destroyed]")

being pointlessly silly?

Actually, the hurricanes were part of God's ongoing war against trailer
parks, and He was busy staring at all the Mardi Gras tits and got
distracted in targetting. . .

Actually, to be serious, the ten were written across both the fronts &
backs of the tablets, with a miraculous engraving, whereby the letters
were burned right through the stone on both sides, but still perfectly
legible.

Oh, and they're not 10 "commandments" as the first isn't even a
commandment, it's a simple "statement" ("I am Y-H-V-H your God.")

And since nobody can possibly love God with ALL their
mind/strength/heart (to TOTALITY!!) people still fall short. . .

Not really, in fact, when a gentile woman approached Jesus to ask for
his boons, Jesus stated that they were only for Israel -- she pointed
out the analogy that even a dog can have crumbs from the Master's
banquet table, and only THEN did Jesus show his first acknowledgement of
non-Jews! (because of her faith, as JC put it)

No, Jesus' words were for Israel -- Peter was the one who had a
revelation that the Jesus message was for non-Jews as well (Peter was
Jesus' best buddy, yet was convinced the message Jesus preached was
solely for Jews, until God had to directly intervene through a prophetic
dream and open the Message so as to be preached to all peoples)

followup point: does it seem at all reasonable that those who follow
Jesus WOULD continue in any of that? (Paul puts it plainly, "for that is
what you ONCE WERE(liars, fornicators, thieves, et al)
