I wasn't brought up on grits, and have probably had "real" grits only once or
twice, so I have no basis except for the moment of eating for deciding whether
I like them.  As for the boil-in-bag anything, I dislike the concept, since one
has to open and empty a messy steaming hot bag.

They'll probably like it lots better with good rice, and be more than willing
to eat it three times per week.

When my son was a child, I went in with several others buying larger lots of
produce, and that was quite a nice setup.  Economy without the volume for each
participant.  I also went on my own for large lots when I wanted to do some
canning.  I got some hotsauce once.  Put it on the garbage bags to keep the dog
from chewing them open and rummaging through them.  Dog loved it, looked for
more. <g>
