Yep. I haven't dabbled with pure bagoong but I know how potent bagoong
guisado can be.

Another oxtail recipe; skimpy on measurements and with yet another P.S.
attached.

     Title: Rabo De Rez Estofado - Oxtail Stew
Categories: Filipino
  Servings: 4

           oxtail
           salt
           pepper
           oregano flakes
           accent
           vinegar
           soy sauce
           garlic
           onions
           tomato
           water
           olive oil
           white wine

Here is another version of cooking oxtail. Wash and clean the oxtail you
will use, put in your pot or pan then season w/salt, pepper, pepper
corns, little oregano flakes or powder, accent, little vinegar, little
soy sauce, several pieces of lightly pounded garlic, cut up onions, 1
big fresh cut up tomato, add water enough to cover oxtail and to soften
the meat, pour some olive oil over the mixture as well as a little white
wine and let it cook in medium heat till tender. If the oxtail is
already soft,you can remove if the sauce is still watery and reduce it
to a consistency of a sauce, but not too dry neither too runny, then put
back the oxtail in the pot or pan. This is some sort of food for the
tapas bars, for pulutan, but you can eat it just the way you enjoy it. I
hope it tastes good and you enjoy it.
