And you don't have to worry about moving again/making weight allowance.
That's generally when things get jettisoned around here--send the new
and get rid of the old--but Steve doesn't do it very often with computer
stuff unless it's really, really old.

We used them for several months. Steve was working full time, going to
school half time, on the volunteer fire department and pastoring a
church.  Work and school were each 30+/- miles away from home in
opposite directions.  I was kept busy at home with 2 little girls.

Sounds good to me; I can't use pork so use ground beef and turkey in
mine.  I will generally use about 3 pounds of meat at a time.

Nice. Today I made bread crumbs (from crusts of home made whole wheat
bread); cooked down the carcasse of a turkey, 2 cornish game hens & a
couple of chickens into a meat stock (4 pint containers w/meat shreds, 3
with just the stock for the freezer, plus poultry soup for lunch and a
pint box for the fridge freezer); helped Steve a bit with pichu/patchu
sauce for tonight's pasta; got more stuff than was on my list at the
commissary; etc, etc.  Tomorrow will be light in the food prep
department--just braise a piece of beef (so I can just reheat it Sunday
after church) and get fixin's for a loaf of bread into the machine.

-> goulash soup (lunch plus 5 boxes for the freezer) and red rice, again,
-> some for lunch and more for the freezer.

 hn> Anne loves red rice! Specially when I mix it with a peanut sauce!

As in with peanut butter? I like it as is, especially if it's been made
with a good piece of sausage.

Yes, we put some more into it today that should be gone before peach
season hits.
