Hi Ruth,

We're in there a whole lot less now that we've got other choices. Target
is less than 10 minutes away but the nearest WM is 20 or more, depending
on traffic.

Next time you'll know better.

That was the same thing we did with the first one we had (got as a
gift).  Got this one when we came out here and its been used several
times in the last few months.

After a certain age it's nothing but patch, patch, patch.

True.  We had to put up with having almost everything shipped in when we
were in HI.  A threatened dock worker's strike on the west coast sent a
lot of natives into a hoarding frenzy--rice, toilet paper and water.
The dock workers did slow down, causing the commissary & PX to dip a bit
in supplies but not to the point where I was in danger of running out of
anything vital.

Grandma (my MIL, girl's grandma) Haffly gave me both my first (stove
top) and second (electric) models.

Went to a new to us seafood place after church yesterday with some
friends.  Melt in your mouth good!  Steve and I split a dozen steamed
oysters; then he had peel & eat boiled shirmp with boiled red potatoes
and a tossed salad . I had shrimp & grits with a tossed salad. It was
good but probably won't have it very often; there were too many other
things there that I want to try.  The shrimp & grits had some diced up
sauasage in it as well but it (the sausage) seemed a bit on the mild
side.  My older brother is stopping to visit in a couple of weeks & we
were trying to decide where to take him for seafood; now we know it'll
be Fiddler's.
