Ground limestone. $6.99 for 2 oz! For rock. I grew up in a river valley
where the bedrock was limestone. Every outcrop was limestone, dolomite
or marble. I could have millions of tons for free. I have to shake my
head.

It appears I do. The worms eat oatmeal; the crickets eat oatmeal and
dead worms and live worms and each other. Nasty little critters. If the
crickets breed I shall only need to buy cheap oatmeal to keep the whole
thing going.

Now Neekha wants to breed geckos and sell them. A vivarium will support
one male only (they fight) but several females. She plans to sell the
females and throw the males in the garbage (I told you she was a junior
femnazi!)

Apparently the way to determine the sex of geckos is to put them
together two at a time. If they do nothing in particular they are both
females. If they hiss and attack they are both males. If one hisses and
the other one, in Neekha's words, bats her eyelashes, swoons and goes
"oh, you're so cool" you have a pair.
     
In the "food" packets I inherited there was some "Tuna Helper".... evil
stuff.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Chicken Curry -BC
 Categories: Chicken, Curry, Not-Indian, Not-good
      Yield: 4 Servings

      1 pk Betty Crocker Tuna Helper
           mix for creamy pasta
  3 1/4 c  boiling water
    1/4 c  milk
      2 TB margarine or butter
      2 c  cut-up cooked chicken
      1 ts curry powder
           Chopped peanuts;
           Flaked coconut or
           raisins, if desired

  Heat oven to 425. Mix Pasta, Sauce Mix and remaining ingredients
  except peanuts in ungreased 2-quart casserole or rectangular pan,
  10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inches.

  Cover and bake 30 minutes or until pasta is tender; stir.

  Let stand uncovered 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you'd
  like. Sprinkle with peanuts if desired.

  *1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained, or 2 cups cut-up cooked turkey can
  be used instead of chicken.
