Thanks for the parenthesis, which saved my having to ask and
betray my distinct 20th-centuriness.

Hey, gotta question - what's this Second Life thing? Carol has
a friend who has managed to get into it.

That's an interesting concept, but one can't type in the old
fashion using such a keyboard - for one thing, resting one's
fingers on the "keys" in the way we were taught in typing class
would be a no-no, no?

Cumin Corn Burgers
cat: sandwich
Serves: 4

1 lb ground beef
3 ts ground cumin
3 ts cumin seeds
1 c whole corn kernels, cooked
salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns, toasted

1. Preheat grill for high heat.
2. In a large bowl, combine beef, ground cumin, cumin seeds,
corn, and salt and pepper.
3. Mix together.
4. Form into patties.
5. Lightly oil grate.
6. Place patties onto grill.
7. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
8. Serve on toasted buns.
