Not everything (especially breakfast-wise) is cooked off-site.  Almost
everything, but not quite.  They are now having their folded eggs pre-cooked,
though, and I think that's idiotic.  The poached ("round") eggs are still made
fresh.  But, now that I think about it, that's about it.  We all thought it was
rather hokey to have the folded eggs pre-made, but the reasoning it was given
to us was to make sure all of the eggs were "...of uniform shape, size,
fluffiness and taste quality [sic]."

I can't eat at a McDonald's anymore as I know what goes into their meat
products. <G>

The word "homoerotic" comes to mind with their advertising campaign.

I especially like the Tendercrisp chicken sandwich (I can take or leave the
hamburgers).  My favorite weakness is their "original" chicken sandwich with
cheese.

Something else too: technically, Taco Bell workers can get away with not
wearing gloves (if the juristiction allows it) because Taco Bell doesn't
actually COOK anything.  Everything is pre-heated in these giant vats of 200
degree water.  It's actually pretty slick - you take the "meat" out of the
fridge in giant five-pound bags, put it in a special carrier cage, drop it in
the water, close the lid and hit the button for twenty minutes.  When the timer
dings, the meat is nice, hot and tasty.

Too bad everything's loaded with MSG and salt.  A bean burrito alone has over
1250mg of salt in it.

It's all the same stuff.  Makes it easier on us in the back.  You know how many
stoned customers we used to get in one night?  They don't care - why should we?

"Food pr0n".  I'll have to remember that term.

"Purgative" is a nice word.  "The screaming steaming s*its" is what we used
privately in the back room. :>
