Yup we're a lot younger than that (grin) and both in fairly good health (even 
considering my heart attack). So I expect we'll have lots of trips ahead of us!

-> Savings, I know how that goes.  Seems like we just get ahead & something
-> comes along to wipe them out.  We put a good chunk on the car down
-> payment and out of pocket non reimbursed moving expenses so our savings
-> is in the rebuilding process. Some will go for the trip this summer tho.

Anne wanted to take me back to Europe this summer but I talked her out of 
it. Not because I don't want to go, but because we just have so much "on 
our plate" at this time I don't want to rush the trip and we just don't have a 
month or 6 weeks to spare. I'd love to go back to my old stomping grounds 
and see some of the things I saw as an early teen. But it'll wait.

Gosh, I'd have to really sit down and think about my "list" Panama, mexico, 
canada, france, spain, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, 
Italy, Switzerland, Germany, England, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, 
Phillipines, Japan, I think I have not been to Utah or Alaska but the rest of 
the states are included as well as Guam.

Now that we are back from the spring trip I've started to build up the freezer 
larder as well.

-> Surprisingly, there's a lot of storage in the Focus wagon.  We got the
-> SES version and realise now it holds more than the Vibe, Matrix, Versa
-> or Fit (all ones we'd considered at one time or other).

The Vibe has very flexible seating as well as a regular 110V plug in for
laptops 
or other devices right in the dash. It has more "clearance" and vertical space 
than the focus wagon and for our needs it is ideal.

That's one of the reasons we seldom make a trek to the east coast. When 
we do someone is sure to get shortchanged as we have SO many relatives 
spread out over the east coast from NY to Fla....there's NEVER enough time 
to see em all!
