Good idea.  My mother hates curry, so I can't use much myself.  I've run
into curry in a few Japanese restaurants, but not often.

I've done similar things with whole salmon.  THey show up dirt cheap once
or twice a year, and I buy the suckers and stuff one with grated carrot,
onions, whatever spices look good at the moment, and bread crumbs. 
Leftovers get hacked into serving portions and deep-frozen.
 
-> can hold in your hand and not have to slice.  Charlotte's bento box now
has 
-> leftover snapper, peas, rice, asian pear, pistacios, a little lump of
cheese, 
-> chunks of 'pooh bread' (ok cold), and 4 black olives, chopped to make
them fit.

Sounds good to me too.  I wish we'd had bento boxes when I was her age; I m
might have actually liked lunch!

chicken
-> (Goya adobo seasoning, 3TB to 4 cups water, add chicken and slow boil

-> hours).  JUst in case, I made enough for the 3 kids plus Don when he
gets home 
-> later that night.  It keeps well for 3 days at least in the fridge and

I usually do pork, but I've done adobo often enough - the Philippine
version anyway.  I normally throw adobo in the rice pot; dunno as I've ever
done the Puerto Rican thing with it.

Ever get any kosher goodies?  One supermarket here has a big Kosher
section, and a lot of that comes frozen.
