I suspect they've got an English menu.  We could help on the common
foods but some of the not so common ones would pose a problem.  We went
to small places, not fancy but just a (big) plate-full of good food in
HI.

No problem there.  We were in Publix (a supermarket chain) the other day
and the fish counter was giving out crab cake samples.  We tried them
and found them to be mostly filler.
