Grin, this time I think the whole post was essential to understanding.  It
doesnt mean that the fresh made isnt 'good' or 'better' but the majority rule
is that jarred mayo is 'good enough' for most things and in fact, few know
other at least where I have lived.

You seem to be thinking 'ultimate perfect' while we are talking just normal
level stuff.  I am sure you make 'super uber Mayo fresh' but us peons know the
standard jar and which ones have a better flavor.

Sure they can!  They buy jars of it and like it.  They arent 'wrong' to do so
or to have an opinion.

My opinion is that I'd like to have a 'fresh' one without all the
preservatives but the local Japanese fresh ones taste nasty to me.

Now if you want a real fight, tell me Miracle Whip is Mayonaise and the fight
is on!  It's *not*.  It is creamed sugar with some sort of 'gunk' that makes
it look like mayo and is even on it's own label, a 'salad dressing'.  It sells
because some like it.  Even some folks here like it.  As long as they call it
salad dressing, I do not mind that.  It's a salad dressing i do not care for
but others do.

Want really disgusting?  Coleslaw made with miracle whip.  *shudder*.  But I
bet some here like that too.  As long as they dont mind me not liking it, I
dont mind that they do.

Chuckle, I hope you enjoyed my bit of Duck but i am sure you'd make it really
fancy.  Meantime, we are enjoying a dish of duck meat with cabbage and carrots
and the broth is finishing off in the crockpot.
