We've had that feeling from time to time with places we've enjoyed.
Some of them have gone after we've moved on but come back to visit so we
weren't aware of their demise.  Some morph into other places; a not too
bad (a bit upscale than chian) steak house in Sierra Vista called "The
Beef Baron" (or "Cafe Boef" by us) changed into a Chinese eatery (one of
now several within a short distance) in Sierra Vista.

And that's what Turtle Bay is turning into--the North Shore version of
Ko'Olina.

On Oahu, no doubt but on most of the other islands, less of a chance.  I
could see a Moonscape theme park on the Big Island tho. (G)

If I get a good head of steam going in the kitchen, who knows what is
liable to emerge, with who knows how many dirty dishes in its wake.

I'm just saving one of state--and the Lewis & Clark nickel series with
both mint marks.  Just something else to add to my oddiments of coins
collection.

What's the signifigance of that one?

BTW, I'll be putting Fido on pause, probably Monday night for 3 weeks.
