Ah, the project for a dotage in the distant future. I hope

Over how many generations have you seen said constancy, I wonder.

Ah, yes. Are we sure that it was the Rainbow Serpent and
not his brother the Strobe Light Serpent?

Truth, but imagining that this storage can be adapted to the
storage of large quantities of bytes of text (does it take one
brain-byte of storage to store one byte of text? I doubt so) is
not only utopian but likely promises ill for those chosen to
provide said storage.

Here's an interesting article on the future of data storage. I
think the guy is full o' bull, but ymmv:

Pollock with cockles
cat: fish, main
servings: 4

4 pollock fillets (130 g each)
4 apples (reinettes d'Armorique)
250 g cockles
100 g Guerande butter
30 g heavy cream
20 g dried kombu
2 L water
30 g Kosher salt
s, p

Filet de lieu jaune, puree armorique et coques de la baie

Degorge the shellfish in salted water for 1 1/2 to 2 hr before
preparing this recipe. Rinse and drain.

Rinse, peel, and core the apples. Steam until very soft and
mash with a fork. Put them in a casserole; add the cream and
40 g butter and then heat gently.

Put the kombu in the bottom of a double boiler. Add water.

Season the fish; arrange with the cockles in the top of the
double boiler; steam for 5 to 6 min until the cockles open.

Melt the rest of the butter.

Plate the fish on four plates and moisten with butter. Add
a portion of apple puree, and strew the cockles over.
