Okay, the only piece of info needed now is the length of the
typical cut. I know that the pop songs used to run about 3 min
each, but jazz cuts it strikes me tend to be a bit longer.
Shall we say 5? Then we get 4750 min for 4.4 G, or just under
a meg a minute.

I have enough junque loaded onto this box that taking advantage
of the extended warranty would cause some pain. I'll go look for
my old SMC wireless card and see if it will work in this machine;
if so, hunky dory.

By the way, I just remembered why I sent the thing back in the
first place - the modem didn't work.

Cherry tomatoes stuffed with mozzarella and basil
cat: starter, airline
yield: 36

1/2 lb fresh mozzarella, cut in tiny cubes
3 Tb EVOO
1/3 c coarsely chopped fresh basil
1/4 lemon, grated zest of
1/2 ts Kosher salt
1/4 ts fresh ground pepper
18 cherry tomatoes, rinsed, dried, stemmed
salt

Combine first 6 ingredients; refrigerate 2 to 4 hr.

Slice each tomato in half and hollow out with spoon
or melon baller. Sprinkle with salt. Invert onto
paper towel and drain 15 min.

Fill each tomato half with a scant teaspoon of
mixture and arrange on serving tray. Serve or
may wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 hr.
