Well, as you may have seen by now, the picnic is over and Steve did try
bits and pieces of pork.  He's also back reading the Cooking echo.

BTW, I've mentioned that my younger brother bought our 18 cubic foot
freezer when Steve went into the Army--saw him on the trip and he said
it's still going.  We bought it in 1979 when Rachel was about 6 months
old.
