Are there any things you do not eat? Though folks here will chat about all
sorts of foods, I'd like to avoid sending any straight to your name if I knew
they might be offensive.  

I am guess pork and some of my favorite seafoods wouldnt be available or
acceptable, but I can work around any known list.  

What I'd love is any home simple recipes you like from where you are.  It's
often the simple home ones that can be so easy to adapt to another's use when
we don't all have access tot he same things at the grocery store (or food
market where you are I think).

Alot of what I make here in Sasebo Japan, I know you probably would have a hard
time getting and unless I knew more of what seafoods you find acceptable, I
don't know which you'd like to think about trying.  Are squid (aka calamari)
on your allowed list along with shrimp and clams or oysters?  It's ok if they
are not, but I have some good recipes for all those if they are.

Oh, most of us here use 'volume measures' such as a cup of somethig, but we can
mostly do metrics as well so use whatever system fits you best.  If we use one
you arent sure of, just ask!

It's a big friendly chatty echo with folks from Australia, Japan, France,
Canada, and USA mostly but we get a few from elsewhere at times as well.
