The canned tomato and okra can be ok, depending on brand.  I ofen use it in
cooking as a base for a sort of gumbo soup with bits of leftover seafoods.

Here's a quick idea:
1 can of that tomato okra
2 large cans of hot and spicy V-8
1/4 cup chopped onion (I happen to use red/purple here but others will do)
1/2 cup leftover seafoods (Oysters, shelled shrimp, uncooked squid rings, etc)
Black pepper and file' powder to taste

Pretty much just simmer for about 4-5 mins and eat.  I mix the seafoods if i
have lots of stray stuff so there will be 3-5 types in there commonly. 
Sometimes I sweat the onions in a bit of butter then dump the rest in on top
to cook in the same pan.  This isnt traditional 'gumbo' but is tastey and fast
to make up.  You could also use chopped turkey sausage links if they are
pre-cooked, turkey, or if Steve isnt home, ham or pork based meat.  The charm
of the dish is enhanced by using small amounts of different meats though beef
isnt really a match here.  Cut the meats to bite sized bits.  (Fish and
seafood is meat in my lexicon BTW).

You can eat the canned okra and tomato as is of course or over brown rice, but
I use it as a starter mix.  Caution note:  Okra doesnt really crockpot very
well though it can be used in some things well enough.  Just not an optimal
cooking method for that veggie because it's not happy with long cooking
measured in 6-8 hour timeframes.  I had forgotten that when I made that beef
stew a bit ago for some reason but it was ok later after the tastes melted in.

2 out of 3 is normal but here, we all like'm.  That means i have to get more so
as to get my share :'(
